Invisalign are clear plastic aligners that are virtually transparent and can be removed during meals and cleaning. Your dentist will place a new set of aligners every two weeks to correct most simple alignment issues.
Traditional braces, on the other hand, are adhered to your teeth for the entire duration of treatment and are removed by your orthodontist at the end of the treatment period. These do require some food and drink restriction but work very well in correcting most bite and alignment issues.
